There is no direct train from Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne, but you can first get to Phan Thiet city centre, and then get from it to Mui Ne – the distance between these cities is 5 km. So you can cover it either by bus ($1) which runs at short intervals or by taxi. The SPT2 train to Phan Thiet travel time is 3 hours 44 minutes, and the ticket cost is $16-18. Tickets can be bought at the main railway station of Ho Chi Minh. And there are no overnight journeys.
